Back from yet another business trip. This was one of those awful ones; flew out at 1pm, arrived there at 9.. to the hotel..up and ready to go by 8, meetings with client from 9-2:00, cab to the airport at 2:30... plane delayed by an hour... back home by 11pm. Sheesshh.. I'm actually looking forward to holidays cuz it'll be *slower*!

In the mean time, work on the novel continues. Funny that I get alot of writing done on planes. Maybe it's because I'm forced to focus. No conversation, no internet/chat/twitter/DA.. just focused concentration. Anyway, chapter 3 started. one of the characters I expected to just be a walk on seems to be coming forward as the "voice of reason" for the group. I've always liked it when characters do that...begin to take on a personality of their own and acting in ways you didn't expect. We'll see how the writers group takes to this.

Having lunch with a detective next week to make sure my procedures are correct.. yah.. this books starts with a murder, so gotta get that right!
